Express Entry

The express entry system was designed and implemented to help simplify and expedite the immigration process for potential candidates. To be eligible for Express Entry, candidates must meet the requirements and apply through the following programs:

• • • Federal Skilled Workers Class
    • Federal Skilled Trades Class
    • Canadian Experience Class

Candidates are given points based on their credential, and then ranked compared to the rest of the applicants in the express entry pool. Periodically, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada will invite candidates with scores above a cut-off line to apply for Permanent Residence to Canada. PR application through Entry can be processed within 6 months from receiving Invitation-To-Apply.
