Provincial Nominee Program

Canada has vast land with ten provinces and three territories. Most of them have an agreement with the Government of Canada that allow the province/territory nominate immigrants who want to settle there. Candidates who have the required skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of that province or territory, and willing to resides there may be nominated. In most cases, candidates must apply directly to a province or territory to be considered under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Provinces currently have PNP programs are Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and Yukon.
